Our sugarhouse sits just steps away from the rail trail, offering a delightful rest stop for hikers, cyclists, and outdoor enthusiasts. Look for our Fradette’s sugarhouse signs directing you from the trail to our door—you can't miss the sweet aroma of maple in the air!

Trail Information
The Lamoille Valley Rail Trail is Vermont's longest rail trail, stretching 93 miles across the northern part of the state. This four-season recreational path transformed an abandoned rail line into a treasured outdoor resource for both locals and visitors.

If you're arriving by car, we offer plenty of free parking with easy access to both our sugarhouse and the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail.
Our location at the intersection of Vermont's natural beauty and recreational opportunities makes Fradette's Maple Syrup the perfect destination to experience authentic Vermont traditions while enjoying the great outdoors.
I-89: From the North – Take exit 8, Montpelier, to Route 2 east. From the South – Take exit 7, Berlin/Barre to Route 62 east. Go straight through three sets of lights. At the fourth light, take a left on to 302 West. Just before the fifth light, bear right onto Route 2 east.
Route 2 East – Bear left onto Route 14 east in East Montpelier. Route 14 will take you to the traffic light in Hardwick. See Hardwick directions below.
From Morrisville/Stowe Area: Follow Route 15 east into Hardwick. See Hardwick directions below.
From Danville/St. Johnsbury Area: Follow Route 15 west to East Hardwick. Take a right onto Route 16 at the Rte 15/16 intersection. Travel approximately 3.4 miles. Kingdom Creamery will be on your left directly across the road from Arsene Avenue. Turn right onto Arsene Avenue and continue up the road, less than one mile, until you reach the sugarhouse.
From Barton/Glover Area: Travel south on Route 16 past Greensboro Bend. Kingdom Creamery will be on your right directly across the road from Arsene Avenue. Turn right onto Arsene Avenue and continue up the road, less than one mile, until you reach the sugarhouse.
From Hardwick: At the light, take Route 15 east. This is Main Street. At the Y, bear right onto Mill Street (Route 15). Travel approximately 2 miles to the junction of Route 15 & 16. Take a left onto Route 16 and travel 3.4 miles. Kingdom Creamery will be on your left directly across the road from Arsene Avenue. Turn right onto Arsene Avenue and continue up the road, less than one mile, until you reach the sugarhouse.
